To Whom It May Concern: I am writing on behalf of my family (my husband, sister and brother) to highly recommend and express our sincere thanks to Patricia Walker and the team she led for the care they provided to our mother. As stated in greater detail below, Patricia’s team was reliable, prompt, kind and honest. We obtained health aids for our mother, first through an agency and were not happy with any of them either due to their lack of interaction with her or their physical abilities. Our mother had fallen and cracked one of her vertebrae and then was placed in a rehab facility. We were provided short notice that she was getting released from the facility and now needed health aid care around the clock. We were not happy with the health aids that were with her and I contacted a geriatric social worker that we respected and she recommended Patricia Walker. We decided to place our mother in a senior facility for the short term, until she was strong enough to go back to her apartment. Our mother also had some dementia. We met with Patricia who put her team of 4 in place. They were a G-d send to our mother and our family. First, they were prompt and reliable. They would make sure a team member arrived 30 minutes before the other team member left so someone was always there. The team of 4 were all so kind and caring. They paid attention to our mom and interacted with her and kept her very busy. They made sure she attended all the activities at the facility, especially the exercise classes and the PT. My mother always tried to back out of these activities but Patricia’s team made sure she attend. They made sure she was clean and dressed every day, and that she ate healthy meals. They paid so much attention to her and interacted with her like a friend. In fact, my mother referred to them as her friends. They were all physically strong and healthy so they could catch her from a fall, and help her in and out of the shower and move her around when necessary. Finally, they were all very honest. We visited our mother a lot and got to know and love Patrica’s team. For the first time in a very long time, we didn’t worry about leaving her. Having Patricia’s team there gave us all peace of mind. Our mother had other illnesses and ultimately passed away. We continue to recommend Patricia’s team to whoever we know that is in need of health aids.
